Cafés · Lincoln
A small Lincoln café that punches well above its price bracket, this is the sort of place where nothing seems like too much trouble — one visitor arrived with their hands full and a member of staff came out to hold the door. The room is clean, warm and has plenty of seating, with high chairs, buggy access and free parking outside, so the whole business of arriving with children is genuinely easy. Food is made to order but comes out fast, which matters when someone's patience is running low: jacket potatoes with coronation chicken or a generous pile of beans, filling full English breakfasts, bacon rolls, and scones baked fresh. There's a kids' menu and cake by the slice to take home. Prices are fair rather than rock-bottom — one regular reckons "you get what you pay for", and portions back that up.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
