The Quay Inn
Pub in Minehead with outdoor seating — 4.1★ (748 Google reviews).

Restaurant · Minehead
Right at the far end of Minehead harbour, this old pub is all rope work and beer-barrel lids fixed to the ceiling, with splendid views out over the Bristol Channel — the sort of building that feels properly old rather than styled to look it. It's roomy enough for a pram, and the staff are unfailingly warm, checking back to see everyone's happy. Food is honest and reasonably priced, with a daily specials board, a brie and bacon baguette with crisp fries that's worth ordering, and a carvery families rate highly — tender meat, trimmings done properly. High chairs, a kids' menu, vegan options, outdoor seating and free parking outside make the logistics easy. Two things worth knowing: it gets very busy, so book a table, and there's live music some evenings, which is fun but loud.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
