Wharfe View Tea Room
A warmly rated Skipton tea house serving tea and light bites at mid-range prices — an easygoing stop for the whole family.

Café · Skipton
A popular little spot just outside Skipton, and on a wet Saturday you may well be glad you booked — tables go fast, inside and out. The children's options are properly thought through rather than tacked on, food arrives quickly, and prices stay reasonable. High chairs, buggy access and a free car park (plus roadside parking) take the stress out of arriving. The cake counter is the real draw — Victoria sponge, lemon and elderflower, cherry frangipane, parsnip apple and pecan — and the fruit scones get near-devotional praise. Vegan cakes and food are available too. There's a small gift and book corner with children's games to occupy little hands, plus tucked-away outdoor seating. Service can get a bit scattered when it's busy, and drinks occasionally go astray, but the staff are warm about it. Dogs welcome.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
