Six Bells Inn
A welcoming Ashford pub with outdoor seating and a 4.4-star rating, easygoing and mid-priced for a family meal out.

Coffee Shops · Ashford
A small, beautifully fitted-out village café where the calm is the point — parents mention the atmosphere as much as the food, and there's easy parking in the hall car park just outside, which matters when you're unloading a buggy. It's compact inside, so the outdoor seating is worth aiming for on a warm day or with a pram. High chairs, a kids' menu and vegan options are all there, and much of the food is cooked on site using local suppliers. The prawn sandwich gets particular love, the flapjacks are a reliable bribe, and the coffee is consistently well made. Fair warning: food can be slow to come out, so order something to keep small hands busy while you wait. Dog friendly too — there's usually a very patient labrador in residence.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
