Tucked away with a garden and seating area you walk through to get in, this is a bigger space than you'd expect — motorcycles and vintage memorabilia on the walls, tables spaced far enough apart that nobody's sitting on top of you, and enough room that a pram isn't a problem. Food comes fast, sometimes under ten minutes, which matters when a toddler has hit their limit. Portions are generous without being pricey: baked potatoes, paninis, club sandwiches, a burger that's actually burger-sized, and a coffee and walnut cake people come back for. Staff are kind and attentive, there are high chairs and a kids' menu, plenty of free parking front and back, and vegan choices. Gluten-free items exist but stock varies, so ring ahead if that matters. One parent calls it "a real gem hidden away".
