Portions are generous: the fish fingers are homemade and full of proper flaky fish, the fish finger sandwich is enormous for £7.50, and everyone raves about the chips — thin and crisp, not the usual doorstops. Crispy cauliflower and sticky toffee pudding get their share of love too. Two honest notes: the menu isn't huge, the ribs come with no sides unless you ask, and the toilets can be hit and miss. Parking is free, but worth checking.
