The Sunday roast is the thing to come for: enormous plates with every trimming, and the duck croquettes are worth a starter. Burgers arrive with a mountain of chips, and there are vegan options too. Staff are genuinely warm and quick with families. It fills right up by mid-afternoon, especially Sundays, so book — one parent describes being made "really welcome" from the door.
