Service is quick even when it's packed, and the staff are friendly and unbothered by a bit of chaos. There's a kids' menu, high chairs and outdoor seating, plus a jukebox, a big screen for the rugby, and a genuinely well-kept dark ale if one of you fancies a pint. Two honest snags: drinks aren't the cheapest, and that huge TV blocks off some of the seating. Afternoons are the quiet sweet spot; Saturday nights get busy.
