Cafés · Liverpool
Tucked near a park in Wavertree, this small café has become a genuine local favourite — and the 4.9 rating across 300-plus visits tells you it's not a fluke. It's cosy and thoughtfully decorated rather than roomy, so a pram is easier managed at the outdoor tables in decent weather, and buggy access is fine. There are toys to keep little ones busy, high chairs, a kids' menu, and staff who are visibly patient when children are in tow. Food is cooked fresh to order — the full English gets particular praise, as do the scones and sandwiches — with portions bigger than the prices suggest, and vegan and veggie choices covered. Service is quick, often around five minutes, which matters when patience is thin. Free parking outside is limited, but Wavertree sports centre is a short walk. One parent calls it "a gem in this neighbourhood".

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
