Perched out on Mumbles Pier, this one earns its reputation on the view alone — far-reaching sightlines over the rocky headland from pretty much every seat, indoors or out. There's masses of outdoor seating and plenty of reasonably priced parking, plus buggy access and a ramp, so arriving with a pram isn't a battle. Food comes out fresh and quickly, which matters when someone's hungry, and the coffee-and-cake deal is good value — the cinnamon bun banana bread gets particular praise, and there are dairy alternatives and vegan options. High chairs and a kids' menu are sorted, and the staff are warm with families. Two honest snags: you queue and pay at the counter before anything arrives at your table (no signage says so), and cleanliness can slip at busy times. One parent found the piped music outside drowned out the waves.
