Set on the Windmill Retreat site out in the Somerset countryside, this is a proper destination lunch rather than a quick stop — and the space works in your favour with a pram. Outdoor seating and a tepee you can book for birthdays or baby showers mean noisy children aren't a problem, and the team is used to it; one family mentioned staff being patient with kids "who asked a million questions". Brunch is the strong suit: pancakes, eggs benedict and the breakfast grill all get raved about, portions are generous, and the cakes of the week are enormous.
