The Plough
Pub in Bristol with outdoor seating — 4.5★ (750 Google reviews).

Restaurant · Bristol
Bristol families tend to end up here for the same reasons: the free parking means you're not circling with a car full of children, buggy access is straightforward, and there's a proper garden that takes the pressure off when a toddler needs to move. High chairs and a kids' menu are sorted. The rooms sit across a courtyard in converted outbuildings, so if you're staying over, the little ones aren't upstairs from a busy bar. Food is a genuine step above pub standard — whipped cod's roe, lamb cooked properly, grazing boards that feed a whole table — and coeliac and other dietary needs get handled without fuss. Service is generally quick and warm, though it can be hit and miss on a busy night, and the odd dish arrives over-salted. Worth booking, especially at weekends or when there's an event on.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
