About The Keel Row - JD Wetherspoon

Set inside the Gate entertainment complex in the city centre, this is a Wetherspoon doing what Wetherspoon does — cheap, quick and easy with children in tow. Buggy access is straightforward off the ground floor, there are high chairs and a kids' menu, and it's a short hop from the Metro and bus routes if you'd rather not park. Food comes out fast and portions are generous, which matters when someone's hungry now: breakfasts are the standout, with the Miners Benedict and bacon butties both getting a lot of love, and unlimited coffee and hot chocolate refills for the grown-ups. Sunday mornings get busy and noisy, and early on a weekday you'll often have the place to yourselves. Service can be brisk rather than chatty, and tables aren't always cleared quickly — worth flagging if you need one wiped down.
