Tucked into a small farm estate with views across to the church and cows in the fields, this is an easy one with children in tow — free parking right out front, buggy access, high chairs and plenty of outdoor seating for when little ones need to wriggle. Breakfast is the draw: five-stack pancakes with bacon, the Veggie Delight piled with halloumi, home-made hash browns and spelt toast, and toasties that regulars come back for week after week. Everything's made to order, so it's not the spot for a two-minute turnaround, but complimentary iced water arrives with every order. The team are generally warm and good with dietary requests, though the odd visitor has found service brusque. Cakes are worth saving room for, and one family calls it "the perfect spot for all seasons".
