Tucked into Leeds city centre, ten minutes' walk from the station, this is a miniature town built for small people — a vets, a shop, a hair salon, a builders' yard, a farm, a camper van, even a police cell with a little escape hole and a working postal service. The wooden toys are properly good quality and everything is set out fresh at the start of each time slot. Crucially for parents, the whole space is secure with no way for a bolting toddler to get out, and most of it is visible from the café tables, which sit right in the middle rather than tucked off to one side. Staff chat to children respectfully and take genuine interest. Good vegan range, though the food is quite bread-heavy. Buggy access, high chairs, kids' menu.
