The Walton Arms
Lively Warrington pub with a kids' menu, high chairs, step-free buggy access and outdoor seating — booking recommended.

Restaurant · Warrington
A proper old country pub on the edge of Warrington, with an open fire in the bar and a beer garden with plenty of seating — which is where families tend to land in warmer months, with room to spread out and a pram parked without apology. The welcome is genuinely warm, staff are attentive without hovering, and food arrives quickly, which matters when someone's patience is running out. High chairs, a kids' menu and vegan options are all there, plus a free car park across the road with plenty of spaces. Portions are generous: the cheese pie and the steak and Hatton Gold pie get raved about, the pastry especially, and there's a specials board alongside a few Scottish surprises like haggis and clootie dumpling. Do book — it fills up — and check food service times, as Sunday hours have caught people out. Dogs welcome too.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
