Cafés · Rhyl
Right on the seafront in Rhyl, this is a small, easy-going café that suits a morning walk with the pram — buggy access is straightforward, there are high chairs, a kids' menu, and free parking, plus a good stretch of outdoor seating that comes into its own because inside genuinely fills up. Breakfasts are cooked to order and arrive properly hot, the homemade scones get singled out again and again, and there's a solid range of gluten-free cakes with real care taken over cross-contamination. The coffee is ground fresh to order. The open kitchen keeps small children entertained, and the staff will happily chat to them rather than tolerate them. Portions are generous for the price. One person did find the sausages disappointing, and at busy times you may be waiting for a table indoors.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
