Cafe Hogmoor
A welcoming Bordon coffee shop with a kids' menu and a 4.5-star rating, ideal for a laid-back family coffee stop.

Restaurant · Bordon
Set out in farmland a little way from Bordon, this is the kind of pub where you can actually park easily and get a table without a battle — one family turned up on a Saturday lunchtime and found it quiet. The terrace is the pick in good weather, with umbrellas for shade, and there's room to get a pram alongside a table. Staff talk you through the menu and are consistently described as attentive and warm, which helps when small people need something quickly. Fish and chips comes up again and again, as does the Sunday roast, the chicken, ham hock and leek pie, and gravy chips with cheese for a cheap filler. The set lunch — a main plus a drink around £18 — is good value. The à la carte can be fussier than it needs to be, so it's worth checking the day's menu when you arrive.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
