Hungry Food (Grill )
A mid-priced Nottingham grill restaurant with a kids' menu, handy for an easygoing family meal out.

Restaurant · Nottingham
A newer arrival to Nottingham, and on a quiet weeknight you may well have the room to yourselves — which does mean space for a pram, easy access, high chairs and a kids' menu without anyone tutting, plus outdoor tables for warmer days. Some visitors found it clean and calm with friendly, quick service. The food, though, is where things fall down: bland plates, frozen-tasting veg and mean portions come up again and again at roughly £30 a head, and one table found sauce sachets a year out of date. More seriously, families eating with allergies describe dishes being served that they'd already flagged, and food being lifted off plates by hand rather than remade. If anyone in your group has an allergy or intolerance, this isn't one to chance. Fine for a drink outside; as a family dinner, you'll likely pay more than you get.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
