Coffee Shops · Manchester
Tucked away near the hospital, this is the kind of calm, community-minded café where nobody minds a pram parked by the table or a toddler taking twenty minutes over a cookie. The staff are unfailingly warm — that comes up again and again — and there are high chairs, buggy access and outdoor seating for days when everyone needs air. The drinks are the real draw: the hot chocolate and chai latte get proper devotion, and there's a Manchester Fog and a hojicha latte if you're after something different. Food-wise, the honey mustard bagel or ciabatta sandwich is the order to make, and the rotating cookies, pastries and a very good vegan carrot cake keep small people happy. There's a kids' menu too. Prices are fair. It does host events and study crowds, so it can fill up.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
