The dining room is genuinely lovely, all Turkish-inspired coloured glass and warm wood, with a newer, lighter space alongside the original, so there's plenty of seating and room to park a buggy. High chairs, a kids' menu and free parking are all sorted, though the car park is stony and uneven, so mind the pram wheels. The toilets are spotless. Portions are big enough that most people don't finish; the brownie and ice cream gets a "wow" from families. Two snags worth knowing: book ahead, and avoid peak times unless you fancy queueing at the carvery with a hungry toddler.
