White Hart Community Inn
A warm, well-loved community pub in Cardigan with outdoor seating and easy-on-the-wallet prices the whole family can enjoy.

Restaurants · Cardigan
Sat above the Teifi in St Dogmaels, this pub trades on its view — river, wildlife, boats — and there's seating inside and out to enjoy it from, plus a cosier inner bar if the weather turns. Book ahead: it fills up, especially at weekends and holidays, and window tables go to those who plan. Staff are genuinely accommodating with families — gluten-free handled properly, blankets fetched for cold children, a table found even when they're heaving. High chairs, a kids' menu, vegan options and free parking all help. The seafood platter and basket get the loudest praise, along with the chicken and chorizo tagliatelle and generous portions. Two honest snags: it's pricier than you'd expect for west Wales (drinks especially), and the toilets are up a lot of stairs, which matters with a pram or a toddler.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
