A brunch spot with more room than the frontage suggests — the floor space opens out and there's a decent spread of tables, so a pram isn't a problem, and there's seating out the back too if the inside is full. It does get loud: the room carries sound and there are usually plenty of small children in, which is fine when you're chatting but not if anyone needs quiet. Food comes out fast — under ten minutes at times — which matters when someone's melting down. The soda stack, egg royale and the pulled pork sourdough with Asian slaw all get singled out, portions are generous, and the coffee is genuinely good and cheap with it. Vegan options and a kids' menu are there. High chairs, free parking, and the queue can reach the door at weekends.
