It's an entirely vegan kitchen with a genuinely warm, unhurried feel: the staff are welcoming, the room is spotless, and there are games out to keep children busy while food arrives, which helps on a busy Saturday. Portions are big enough that boxes get requested — the Buddha bowl with falafel, the burgers, cauliflower wings and the Hippie Hotpot all get named again and again, and the cakes (chocolate orange, Victoria sponge) are the sort people buy extra of on the way out.
