Portions are big, prices sit around £10–£20 a head, and drinks are reasonable by Cambridge standards. There's a kids' menu (a tikka masala goes down well with children who like a bit of flavour), high chairs, step-free buggy access, outdoor seating and free parking, which takes the stress out of arriving. Staff are attentive and warm — one family found the welcome genuinely made their meal. It's still a working pub, with sports on and a pool table, so evenings can get lively; lunch and early dinner suit younger children better.
