Caffe Piazza
Warm little Italian in Sheffield with a kids' menu, high chairs and made-to-order tiramisu — book ahead, it fills fast.

Restaurant · Sheffield
Tucked away near the cathedral, this is a proper old-school rock'n'roll pub with real ales, live bands most weekends and something odd and interesting to look at on every wall — good for keeping small people occupied while you finish a drink. Buggy access, high chairs and a kids' menu are all sorted, and the food is worth the trip: it's fully vegan, and even committed meat-eaters rave about the burgers and the waffle fries. Staff are consistently warm and helpful. Two honest caveats: the layout is compact and homely rather than roomy, and on band nights the music is genuinely loud — one visitor found the drums left their ears ringing for hours. Come in the daytime or on a non-music night if you want an easy family meal; food can occasionally be slow when it's busy.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
