Golden Hind
Friendly Plymouth local with a quieter restaurant side, standout Sunday roasts, kids' menu, high chairs and free parking.

Pub · Plymouth
Cheap drinks are the headline here — several people reckon the prices beat Wetherspoons — and the space is genuinely roomy, with a pool table, darts and a big beer garden out the back, plus a huge car park so you're not circling for a space. One dad brought his two sons for an afternoon in the garden and found it clean, tidy and easy going. Buggy access, high chairs and a kids' menu are all there. Be warned, though: it's run as a sports bar now, with screens everywhere and a lively crowd, and one visitor found it "a bit rowdy" for bringing children. Daytimes in the garden are the safer bet than a big match night, and service at the bar can be slow when the locals are three deep.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
