There's a proper pub side and a dining side here, and the pub area fills up fast, so it's worth booking if you want the calmer room. Food comes out homemade and generously portioned for the price — the chilli chicken and chicken lollipops get the loudest praise, along with the Hyderabadi dum biryani and a rice that people genuinely rave about. The naan is excellent, and there are plenty of vegetarian and vegan choices if you've got a fussy one in tow. Staff are warm and happy to talk you through the menu, which helps when you're ordering for children who won't touch heat. There's a kids' menu, high chairs, free parking round the back and a lovely beer garden for летом spilling out. One snag: on busy evenings, drinks and starters can drag.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
