PANAM Restaurant & Bar
A calm, roomy Albert Dock spot with booth seating, generous roasts and pies, and staff who handle toddlers and allergies well.

Right on the Albert Dock, this is a big, handsome room — rustic wood, warm lighting, plenty of space to park a pram and shuffle a high chair in without apologising to anyone. Staff come in for constant praise: chatty, warm, patient, and genuinely thorough about allergies, with one visitor with coeliac finding a long list of safe options. The hanging kebabs are the thing to order — theatrical, garlic-buttered and fun enough to distract a bored six-year-old — and the chicken burger and whole sourdough get raved about too. There's a kids' menu, outdoor seating for warm days, and a plant pot pudding that's made for sharing. Do book, as it fills with big family parties, and if you sit in the bar you order at the bar rather than waiting for table service.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
