Café · Coleraine
Tucked away on the back road between Coleraine and Ballymoney, this is the sort of find that makes you wonder how you missed it. Everything is freshly made, and it shows — homemade quiche, a proper specials board alongside the regular menu, and desserts people still talk about afterwards, like the chocolate and pear frangipane. The coffee is genuinely good too. It's small and gets busy, so book if you can, especially at lunchtime; drinks can take a few extra minutes when it's full, though the team are friendly and unhurried with it. High chairs, a kids' menu and buggy access are all sorted, there's free parking, and undercover outdoor seating with cushions if you'd rather be outside with a pram. Immaculately clean, relaxed, and good value for the quality — one family called the food "10/10".

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
