Tucked in an outbuilding beside a pub just off a main road on the edge of Bristol, this is a small counter doing a lot with very little — the kitchen is tiny, but toasties, sausage baps and brunch plates come out fast, which matters when someone's hungry and unravelling. One group had five orders plus a big pot of tea on the table in under ten minutes. Cheese toasties, the egg and avocado roll and the bacon-and-avocado bap all get raved about, the coffee is generally very good (one person found their latte milky for £4), and the cakes are worth a look. Seating spreads across a courtyard and, outside Sunday roast bookings, the warm shared pub space. There's a climbing frame in the pub garden, high chairs, a kids' menu, buggy access and free parking.
