Set in a converted barn just outside Stratford, this is a smarter sort of family meal out — worth knowing before you arrive with a toddler in tow. There's free parking, buggy access and high chairs, plus a terrace with views over sheep in the field that reliably buys you ten minutes of distraction between courses. The kitchen does sea bass and half a chicken with bang bang sauce that people come back for, and the desserts get singled out too; there's a kids' menu and vegan options. Staff are polite and quick to put things right. One real snag: there's no baby changing table, so a nappy change means a trip out to the car — one family with a six-week-old was caught out by that. There's also no designated disabled parking. Worth booking, especially at weekends.
