You order at the till, find a table and they bring the food to you, which means no queuing with a toddler on your hip — and there's loads of seating indoors and out, so a pram is rarely a problem. Parking sits right beside the seating area, handy when you're unloading car seats and bags. Portions are big and prices low; the fry-ups and sausages get the most praise, along with generous jacket potatoes and hash browns. Staff are friendly and happy to do smaller chips or swap sides for little ones. High chairs and a kids' menu are there too. The refurbished dining area is bright, with plenty of trinkets on the walls to keep small eyes busy. Odd dish can miss — the roasts less reliable than the breakfasts.
