Mediterranean · Harrogate
Tucked just off Station Parade, this Turkish and Middle Eastern spot has a south-facing front terrace that's lovely in warm weather and easy to park a buggy beside — and free parking takes one worry off the table. Inside is bright and relaxed rather than hushed, so a chatty toddler won't stand out, and the staff are consistently warm and attentive without hovering. The mixed grill and Tavuk Shish come up again and again, along with the sea bass, and the flatbread, dips and halloumi make ideal sharing starters while little ones wait. There's a kids' menu, high chairs and vegan choices including a veggie moussaka. Prices are fair for the quality. It's often quieter than it deserves to be, though weekend evenings do fill up, so book ahead.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
