Restaurant · Plymouth
Turkish street food in the middle of Plymouth, cooked to order and worth the short wait — the wraps come out piping hot, and the hand-cut chips (chipped by the chef in view) are the thing families keep going back for: crisp outside, soft in, seasoned properly. There's a kids' menu, high chairs and room to get a pram in, and the staff are patient and genuinely warm, including with allergies and intolerances, which they take seriously. The lunch deal is the smart order — around £15 for a wrap, chips and a drink. Leave room for the homemade baklava or a slice of cheesecake, usually three or four flavours on the go; if the children have flagged, they'll happily box it up to take home. It's cosy rather than roomy, so busy lunchtimes can feel snug. One parent calls the chips "to die for".
