The interactive creative playdays are the draw: painting, and messy play with rice and pasta, so come in clothes you don't mind. There's indoor soft play, buggy access and outdoor seating, and the atmosphere leans calm and community-minded rather than shrieky. The coffee gets praised constantly, and the muffins are enormous — genuinely a shared-between-two situation. Staff are warm and flexible, and artists exhibiting will happily chat to curious children. Worth checking what's on before you travel, since much of the programme runs as booked workshops and sessions rather than drop-in.
