Crickley Hill Cafe
A laid-back Gloucester cafe with a kids' menu, high chairs, and outdoor seating — an easy choice for a family bite to eat.

Bistro · Cheltenham
Tucked on the college campus and signposted off the Cotswold Way, this is a bright, spacious spot where a pram genuinely fits and nobody minds a bit of noise. Seating spreads across a roomy interior and a covered patio, so you can park the buggy outside on a warm day. Parking is free, there are high chairs and a kids' menu, and the team is attentive without hovering. The cooking is better than the setting suggests: crispy fish with proper chips and homemade anchovy mayo, loaded pulled pork fries, excellent macaroni cheese, sourdough worth ordering, and a cake counter that reliably ends arguments. Hot chocolate after a walk is a small triumph. Worth knowing: it's daytime only Monday to Friday, so it's a lunch plan, not a dinner one.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
