Tucked away on Mill Street, this is the kind of unfussy Chinese place where the food does all the talking and the prices stay gentle — genuinely some of the better value in Cambridge. The house special aubergine comes up again and again (crispy outside, soft and savoury within), along with twice-cooked pork, roast duck and the lotus root with fresh chilli. Portions are large and not greasy, and the lunch menu is an easy win with children. The all-you-can-eat hotpot and table BBQ is good fun for older kids who like choosing their own food, though it's £25 a head and no leftovers home. High chairs, a kids' menu, buggy access and vegan options are all there. The room is plain and service can drag when it's busy — but the team are warm, and one family calls the food "life changing".
