About SPARC (St Peter's Activity & Resource Centre)

Sessions here run in hour-and-a-half slots you book ahead, with your own table waiting — which turns out to be a relief whether you're one parent with a toddler or a whole birthday party. The soft play is bright and properly clean, with more natural light than most, and a separate section walled off for babies and young toddlers so the bigger children can thunder about without flattening anyone. There's breakfast, hot food and drinks, children's lunch bags, and cakes that regulars rate as highly as the play. Prices are gentle, parking is free and plentiful, and the team are notably kind — one parent turned up on the wrong day and was fitted in anyway, then had a dropped pizza quietly replaced with a cheese sandwich. The toilets could do with more frequent checks. Hot food isn't always on.
