Handy if you're feeding a family in the middle of Cheltenham — there's a kids' menu, high chairs, buggy access through the door and a few tables outside when the weather plays along. It's roomy enough that a pram isn't a problem, and the flat iron and ribeye are the draw, with a beef dripping gravy people single out as the standout. The chicken wings get a lot of love too, and puddings land well. Be warned though: the cooking of the steaks can be hit and miss, food has arrived lukewarm more than once, and service is the weak spot — one group waited several minutes at the door before anyone looked up. Book ahead and go at a quieter hour, and it's decent value at around ££ for a proper cooked meal.
