Third-floor dining reached by lift or stairs, which makes it easier than it sounds with a buggy — toilets sit on the second floor, and tables are set at a height you can pull right up to. Come before 5pm and the dim sum menu is available, which is handy for grazing children. Food arrives fast, hot and in generous portions, so there's less melting-down time: the Beijing duck with pancakes draws real praise, as do beef fried rice, lamb hotpot and crispy chicken wings. Staff are friendly and keep the teapots topped up. Be warned it fills with big family tables at weekends and gets genuinely loud — one parent found a midweek late afternoon "literally empty" by comparison. Sunday lunch specials are well priced but chaotic. Vegetarians have limited options.
