McHales Irish American Bar
A relaxed, mid-priced Irish American pub in Liverpool with a friendly feel and a solid 4.4-star rating from 238 reviews.

Mediterranean · Liverpool
Set close to town and the station, this is a charcoal-grill Turkish and Middle Eastern spot where the open kitchen windows do a lot of the entertaining — children can watch the chefs work the grill while they wait, which buys you a good ten minutes. The kebabs are the thing to order: the mixed grill and the Iskender come up again and again, meat juicy and well seasoned, with good rice, soup and bread alongside. Breakfast is a big draw too, and portions are generous enough that nobody leaves hungry, though a few find the fry-up more ordinary than the evening food. High chairs, a kids' menu, buggy access and outdoor seating are all here, and staff are quick and happy to work around special requests. It's busy most weekends — one parent notes it's "always busy", so book.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
