Harrisons Aparthotel, Bar & Kitchen
Classic city-centre Liverpool pub with a kids' menu, high chairs and genuinely warm staff — go at lunchtime, before the evening crowd builds.

Mediterranean · Liverpool
Small, warm and right in the city centre, this is the kind of place where food lands fast — handy when someone's patience is running out. The charcoal pit is on view, which buys you a few minutes of distraction, and the grilled kebabs that come off it are the draw: chicken and lamb, Adana, the mixed grill, plus halloumi and a garlic bread one family measured against a nine-inch pizza. Portions are generous and prices gentle, and there's a kids' menu and high chairs. Staff are quick, kind and unfussed by questions — a gluten-free request was handled well. Worth knowing it's genuinely compact, so a pram will need parking by the door, and it fills up in the evening; the larger branch is the livelier option. One parent found the charcoal flavours "insane".
