A welcoming Cobham bar-restaurant with a kids' menu, high chairs, vegan options and outdoor seating — easy, mid-priced dining the whole family can enjoy.

Restaurants · Cobham
Set in proper grounds on the edge of Cobham, this hotel restaurant was refurbished in spring 2024 and feels roomy rather than squeezed — buggy access is straightforward and high chairs are there if you need them, with a kids' menu to fall back on. The team get consistent praise for being attentive without hovering, checking back mid-meal, which helps when you're eating with children. Afternoon tea and the shakshuka come up warmly, and the Sunday roast has fans who called it a perfect meal in a great setting — though not everyone agrees. Some found the roast beef tough and the seasoning heavy-handed, and it isn't cheap: one couple paid £72 for a shared starter, two roasts and drinks. Worth booking for Sunday, and worth knowing the kitchen can be hit or miss.
