Right off the south end of Broad Haven beach, this is the sort of place you fall into after a windy morning on the sand — small and cosy inside, but it holds more people than you'd think, and there's outdoor seating plus buggy access if you'd rather not squeeze a pram between tables. Breakfast is the strong suit: full English, loaded French toast, proper coffee and shakes, with cinnamon rolls and brownies that sell out fast. Later it's fresh-dough pizza, fish and chips and smash burgers people genuinely rave about — one describes the nacho burger as worth driving out of your way for. High chairs, a kids' menu, vegan options and free gluten-free swaps. Staff are friendly and unbothered by a busy table. Prices have crept up, though — £13.50 for a toastie stings — and it's card only.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
