Perched right on the sand at Par harbour, this is the kind of place where a walk along the coast path can turn into a long, easy afternoon — and the views do a lot of the work when children get restless. There's inside seating, a few outdoor tables on a small slope, and a quieter room at the back with its own toilet, which is worth asking about if you'd rather not be in the thick of it. Buggy access, high chairs and a kids' menu are all in place, and the staff are known for being patient and genuinely accommodating — one family with a disabled child found the team "incredibly kind and understanding". Portions are generous: fresh scallops, mussels, seafood linguine and piping-hot pizzas. It gets packed in season, so book ahead.
