Big flavours and big portions are the draw here, and the bill tends to land lower than you'd expect — one family of four ate a full spread for around £60. Start with the sizzler platter: the seekh kebabs and malai tikka come in for constant praise, as do the lamb and chicken karahi, the Lahori masala fish and the dynamite prawns. Ask for boneless chicken in the karahi if that suits your children better; it isn't on the menu but the staff will sort it. Naan arrives soft with a bit of crunch, and the cheesecake is worth staying for. There's a kids' menu, high chairs, buggy access, halal and vegan choices, and free parking, and the loos are clean and roomy enough to manage in. Staff are warm and attentive with families. Prices sit slightly high for some, and a 10% service charge goes on automatically.
