The Gosta Green
A roomy, laid-back Birmingham pub with cheap burgers, sport on TV and outdoor seating for a relaxed family bite.

Pub · Birmingham
A proper old-style Birmingham pub that reopened under new owners, and it shows — three cask ales on, pub grub done well, and prices that genuinely surprise people (one family walked out having paid just over £25 for two mains and two pints). For parents, the useful bit is the beer garden out the back, part of it undercover and a proper sun trap on a good afternoon, which gives children somewhere to be when the inside feels close. There's a kids' menu, high chairs, buggy access and free parking, and the team have a reputation for being unfailingly patient — "nothing is too much trouble" comes up again and again. Chicken wings are the thing to order; the goujons, lasagne and fish and chips all get warm words too. Sunday afternoons are quiet; evenings near closing can feel rushed.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
