The Lobster Pot Inn
A laid-back hotel bar in Haverfordwest with outdoor seating and easygoing, family-friendly prices for a relaxed stop.

Cafés · Haverfordwest
Perched above Marloes Sands with the coast stretching out in front of you, this is the kind of stop that rewards a walk — and there's plenty of room to spread out, with seating inside, in the yard, under a covered area, and out the back with sea views, so a buggy and a restless toddler aren't stuck in anyone's way. High chairs and a kids' menu are there, food is home-cooked, and the fish tacos, chips and brownies come up again and again — one visitor still thinks about the brownie weekly. Plenty of gluten-free and vegan cakes too. The staff are warm and quick with a joke. Two things to know: it's not cheap, though the quality matches, and there's no parking at the café — use the paid National Trust car park up the road and walk down the lane, ignoring your satnav.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
