Karaoke runs downstairs on Saturdays with live entertainment upstairs, and when it's in full swing the place is packed and loud, so it's one for an early afternoon drink with children rather than an evening. New tenants have made a real difference: the welcome is warmer and the staff friendlier than they used to be, though the interior is tired and could do with a lick of paint.
